Fwd: Upcoming Events - August 26, 2008

Greetings from Lutheran Campus Ministry at GMU and welcome to this new school year!
For most of us, this is a time of transition.  Some of you are returning to campus after a summer of working internships.  Others are starting to take college classes for the first time.  At times like these, it is good to remember that God always comes down to journey with us, wherever we are.  The Bible tells us that God pitched a tent with the Israelites, traveling with them and camping alongside them.  We have faith that God is still among us today.

God of love, we sometimes have trouble wrapping our minds around how much you can love us.  Allow us to appreciate your presence as we seek to find where your spirit is moving in our lives.  In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
