Journey through Lent with Lutheran Campus Ministry

February 22 begins the Christian season of Lent as we acknowledge our human frailty and need for repentance.  Lent is a 40 day period of preparation and remembrance of Christ's journey to the cross and his victory over death which we celebrate as Easter.  Traditionally, the season is observed by the disciplines of prayer, fasting, and acts of charity.

Ash Wednesday Services:  Join us as we observe the beginning of the Lenten season with worship on February 22:

+ Midday:  11:00 a.m – 12:00 noon, Johnson Center, Room 239A, (beside the Campus Ministry office).  Led by Pastor Terry Hannon, Lutheran Campus Ministry.

+ Evening:  7:47 – 9:00 p.m., JC 336, Room F.  We'll observe Ash Wednesday at our 747 Creative Christian Worship.  Co-sponsored and led by United Campus Ministries and Lutheran Campus Ministry.

"Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me."   Psalm 51:10

In the name of Christ,
Pastor Terry Hannon
