Observing Holy Week: Around the world, Christians will be observing this week as the holiest of weeks, contemplating Jesus' final days in Jerusalem before his crucifixion, or death on the cross, for the sin of the world. Our cries of "Hosanna!" to welcome the King and his triumphant procession into the city on Sunday are followed by shouts of "Crucify him!" on Friday. And yet, Jesus still gave himself for us. Even as we remember Christ's suffering, we know that the cross is not the end; we eagerly anticipate Christ's resurrection and the new life it brings.
Join us on Wednesday night for 747 Creative Christian Worship at 7:47pm in JC meeting room F (3rd floor). Our Lenten observance ends as we look ahead to celebrate the great Three Days of Jesus' death and resurrection. ALL are welcome! (Co-sponsored with United College Ministries.) http://GMU747.org
