Upcoming Events -- March 27, 2008

We won't be meeting for the "Gospel According to the Simpsons" this Friday. I'm out of town and I couldn't get a room anyway. It woudl be great if we could get a few more people to help out with NOVACO on Monday -- it will be so much better if you're there with us. Also, check out the MALSM retreat info -- are you interested in a free retreat that will be awesome? Finally, consider applying to be a Peer Minister next year -- talk to me about it if you are trying to figure out if it is a good fit for you.

====================

Sometimes, life feels crazy and hectic. We get so busy that we feel like we don't have time for God. Sometimes we have to make time. It's not that God won't love us either way, but that we won't feel whole and at peace while running around cut off from God. Both time alone with God and time together as a community are important as we seek to grow spiritually.

Dear God, please help us to find time to spend with you, away from the chaos of our daily lives, and help us to experience your presence abiding with us and moving among our community. AMEN.
