Upcoming Events -- March 5, 2008

Next week is spring break. With how things fall, our usual Simpsons watching won't occur again until March 21st. As we take this break, I feel the tendency to want to look ahead. I'm excited for the rest of this year, and I'm starting to re-examine our ministry so that we can make changes for the year ahead.

If you are also looking ahead, you might be considering what you are doing this summer. Consider working for one of the Lutheran camps. It's a ton of fun and very fulfilling. Here are a couple camps in the region -- let me know if you want more ideas:

I'll send out some more "looking ahead" opportunities next week...

Dear Lord, we thank you that there is a season for taking a break from what we are doing. During this time, allow us to glimpse ahead, but also to experience the break. Help us to find some down time to spend with you. In Jesus name, AMEN.
